Pharmacology - CME/Conferences

Pharmacology CME:

The department had organized a CME on “Clinical Research” on 24th October 2008, in collaboration with Consortium Clinical Research Pvt.ltd., Coimbatore. A new ‘‘Department of Clinical research” was also inaugurated on that day. This department is established with the goal of conducting clinical trails which can enrich medical fraternity with more safer and effective medications. Eminent speakers delivered lectures on that day. Details are as follows.

Principal, Dr.P Nagaraj presided over the function and Dr. V.V Subbareddy, Principal, College of Dental Sciences, Davangere was the chief guest. Dr Umakant Patil, Prof & HOD, Pharmacology welcomed the gathering and Dr, Venkatesh M. Patil rendered vote of thanks.

Vishweshwaraiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore-562157.

This was attended by the staff and students of SSIMS & RC, SSIMS & RC, Bapuji Dental College, College of Dental Sciences, BIET, Ashwini Aurvedic college, Davangere and various Medical colleges of Karnataka.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTIGATORS IN CLINICAL RESEARCH & TRAINING ON ICHGCP

CME on OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTIGATORS IN CLINICAL RESEARCH & TRAINING ON ICHGCP was conducted on 02nd JULY 2016, Saturday at SKILL LAB, College Block under the guidance of Dr. Umakant N Patil, Professor & Head of Pharmacology and Organizing Chairman of the CME. Participation of over 120 delegates from different institutions of Karnataka was observed. The CME was intended to promote clinical research both in terms quality and quantity and also to make each delegate an honourable member of burgeoning club of clinical investigators. NEW CURRICULUM IN PHARMACOLOGY – WAY FORWARD

The Department of Pharmacology of S.S. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre and JJMMC, Davangere conducted CME on “NEW CURRICULUM IN PHARMACOLOGY – WAY FORWARD” on 7th September 2019, at Library auditorium, Bapuji hospital, JJMMC, Davangere. The participants included faculty members, Post graduate students from different parts of Karnataka. KMC allotted two credit points for the CME.
