Pharmacology - CME/Conferences

Pharmacology CME:

The department had organized a CME on “Clinical Research” on 24th October 2008, in collaboration with Consortium Clinical Research Pvt.ltd., Coimbatore. A new ‘‘Department of Clinical research” was also inaugurated on that day. This department is established with the goal of conducting clinical trails which can enrich medical fraternity with more safer and effective medications. Eminent speakers delivered lectures on that day. Details are as follows.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTIGATORS IN CLINICAL RESEARCH & TRAINING ON ICHGCP

CME on OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTIGATORS IN CLINICAL RESEARCH & TRAINING ON ICHGCP was conducted on 02nd JULY 2016, Saturday at SKILL LAB, College Block under the guidance of Dr. Umakant N Patil, Professor & Head of Pharmacology and Organizing Chairman of the CME. “AWARENESS OF REPORTING SIDE EFFECTS OF MEDICINES”

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಔಷಧ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಉಪಯೋಗ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ (ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಫಾರ್ಮಕೋವಿಜಿಲೆನ್ಸ್ ವೀಕ್ ) ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಔಷಧ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಔಷಧಿಗಳ ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜನ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 23 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2022 ರಂದು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಪ್ರಾ0ಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಔಷಧಗಳು ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಶುಶ್ರೂಶಕರು, ಔಷಧಕಾರರು ಹಾಗು ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಈ ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹಿಡಿದು " ಔಷಧ ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ನಿಗಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ", ಔಷಧ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗ, ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಔಷಧ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ. ಕಿರಣ್ ಎಲ್ ಜೆ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಅವರು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ಔಷಧಿಗಳ ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬದ್ಧಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.ಇದರಿಂದ ಅಂತಹ ಔಷಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗಿಟ್ಟು ರೋಗಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತಹ ಔಷಧಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬೀರುವಂತಹ ಔಷಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರದೂಡಲು ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಔಷಧಿಗಳ ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೋಲ್ ಫ್ರೀ ನಂಬರ್ 1800 180 3024 ಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡ ಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಬಿತ್ತಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಸಿದ್ದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಔಷಧಿಗಳ ಅಡ್ಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಕರಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಅವರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರಿಗೆ ವಿತರಿಸಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಔಷಧಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಭೋದಕರು, ಶುಶ್ರೂಶಕರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಸಂಬಧಿಕರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
