	A highly qualified, experienced , research oriented clinician & academician heads the Department of Paediatrics. Both NICU and PICU are equipped with advanced facilities like Ventilators, transport incubators, infusion pumps and resuscitation trolleys. The Out patient department operates special clinics like Asthma clinic, Rehabilitation clinic and Play therapy room. The department is fully geared up to handle all types of emergencies 24 hours a day. The departmental library is well stocked with the latest edition of books. Throughout the year, academic activities like CME, Training Workshops and conferences are being conducted by the highly qualified faculty.

	Facilities available (I) Neonatal Intensive care:- Equipped with Ventillators-4, Pulse Oximeter, CPAP machines, Infusion pumps,Resuscitation trolly, Open care warmer, Incubators, Phototherapy units, Syringe, pumps. (II) Paediatric intensive care equipped with:-Monitors, Syringe pumps, Infusion pumps, Ventilator, Pulse Oximeter With well trained staff exclusively for paediatrics in both NICU and PICU. (III) OPD:- with electronic Weighing machines, Development assessment charts, Well equipped library with more then 200 books, National and International Journals, Neonatal follow up clinic weekly once, Asthama Clinic weekly once, Rehabilitation clinic weekly once, Breast feeding clinic, Immunization room with facilities for all vaccination, Well baby clinic, Child guidance clinic, Inpatient facility in 4 wards with total 60 beds exclusively for paediatrics.
