Department of Pharmacology

 

 

Pharmacology is disseminating authoritative standards and information developed by it’s volunteers for medicines, and other health care technologies and related practical used to maintain and improve health and promote optimal health care delivery. 

The origins of pharmacology is religion animals and plants, with this, pharmacology is a vital component and its advances, redefining the modern medical practices.

The department is fully equipped with latest instruments of use in the field the department has two separate laboratories, one for experimental and onr for clinical pharmacy. In addition there are three P.G. cum research labs. There are two demonstration rooms and a separate seminar hall. The departmental library has more than 100 books with audiovisual aids. 

The department having an individual museum, which is unique in it’s kind. It is well stocked with scientist’s photos, charts, drugs and plant photographs with crude plant samples, Above all it is having highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff.

PHARMACOLOGY MUSEUM 

The area of museum is 137 sq meters, consisting of wall fixed show cases round the room with separate frames to display the drug samples. 

Two bit wooden stands with glasses partitions to display the herbal medicinal plant pictures with specimens.  Adjacent to this two wooden show case with display boards on either side.
