DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDICS

        The Department of Orthopaedics was established in 2004 with adequate well trained  Senior and junior staffs under the guidance of Dr.Anil.S.Nelivigi who is heading the department.

         

        Now we have 3 Units in Orthopaedics department with well trained Professors heading the unit. under whom   4 Assistant Professor  and 3 Senior Resident are working  All the staff are well trained in trauma, working 24 hours round the clock.

      

     Orthopaedic department headed by Dr.Anil.S.Nelivigi. who has undergone specialized training in VIENNA, on traumatology and arthroscopy and he has also undergone training in Arthroplasty in 2006. and he is member of AO allumni. All the staff  members have done post graduation in Orthopaedics         

Orthopaedic department has well furnished teaching room, departmental library and a separate x - ray unit and space for Minor O.T. to do minor procedures. Our Trauma team works round the clock to take care of emergency and trauma patients. 

       We are regularly conducting seminars and demonstrations for students and we do specialized works like Arthroplasty and spinal surgeries. Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology consists of well trained and dedicated senior professors with the support of enthusiastic highly skilled junior staff.

             We have state of the art major operation theatre doing specialized work in trauma with power equipments and image intensifier. We have staff who are doing specialized work in Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty and Spinal surgeries. specialized works like Arthroplasty and spinal surgeries. We are regularly doing about 100- 150 Major cases, every month.
