College, Davangere hosted the 28th Karnataka State Ophthalmic
Conference at Bapuji Auditorium on 27th,28th and 29th
of November 2009.

Around
700 delegates from all over Karnataka with over 200 trade delegates
participated in the conference.10 guest speakers from reputed eye
institutes from all over india delivered lectures on topics of their
subspecialities.
Office bearers of the organizing
committee were present on the stage.Dr Santosh Honavar, Oculoplasty
Surgeon of international fame from LV Prasad Eye Institute,delivered
oration lecture on ‘’ Retinoblastoma-They Live and See’’ and was honoured
with the prestigious Dr.Subramaniam oration award
There were Symposia, Interactive
sessions, Video presentations, Panel discussions, 16 Instruction courses,
