A seminar on Medical –e –learning / Teaching (Theme: Computer in Medical Education ) was conducted on 07.03.09. The program was inaugurated by Prof R.D. Shivanand, Head of the Dept of computer science , B.I.E.T. Dr. V.  Balasubramanyam, Domain consultant, Medical E Learning, Prof of Anatomy, St John’s Medical College.Dr. Lakshman , Consultant surgeon , Sagar Hospital , B’lore and Dr. Sitalaxmi, Prof  of Clinical pathology, St John’s Medical College were  the resource persons. Postgraduate students and staff of JJMMC, staff and MBBS students of SSIMS&RC attended the seminar.
